Keys Federal Credit Union is committed to giving back to the community! We sponsor events and programs of charitable, community and civic organizations in Monroe County, which are strongly aligned with Keys Federal Credit Union’s mission. Our Community Outreach program welcomes applications in the following areas: health and human services, children and family services, arts, culture and performing arts, disease, treatment and prevention services, education, and protection of the environment.
Applicants must be classified as a 501 (c) (3), or equivalent, by the Internal Revenue Service. Only one request will be considered for an organization during any 12-month period. Please submit your request 60 days prior to the scheduled event.
All requests must be made in writing by completing the Request for Contributions Form. Incomplete forms will not be considered. Requests must include:
Current roster of the organization’s board of directors
If request is greater than $500, include a copy of most recent audited financial statements
Proof of tax-exempt status
Each request is individually reviewed for eligibility by a Contributions Committee. Requesting organizations will receive notification of a funding decision within 30 days of receipt of request.
