Wire Transfers


 

You can send funds both domestically and internationally using a traditional wire transfer. Simply fax your completed wire transfer form and a positive ID, such as an unexpired state-issued driver’s license or ID card, passport or valid military ID, to our Member Services Department at 305–293–6051, or visit any of our branches before the 3:00p.m. cutoff time.


PLEASE NOTE: Forms not signed in front of a Keys Federal Credit Union representative must have been notarized.

You can also transfer funds directly from your Keys Federal Credit Union account to accounts at other financial institutions, or vice versa, for free using Keys EZpay.


Incoming Wires

When you want to wire funds into your credit union account, contact the financial institution you will be wiring the funds from. Please provide your financial institution with the following information:

  • Our routing/transit number or ABA number – 267079557

  • Your name (as it appears on your account), address, and the Keys Federal Credit Union MICR number (account number) to which you want the money transferred

  • Any other special instructions about how the funds should be applied

  • The incoming wire fee is $10.00


Domestic Outgoing Wires

Print the wire transfer form, verify the wiring instructions for the receiving bank, and include the following information in your request:

  • Your name, signature, account number, and daytime phone number

  • Date and time of request

  • The amount being wired plus the domestic wire fee of $20.00

  • The receiving financial institution’s full name, address, and ABA number. If the receiving financial institution has a correspondent bank, you will also need to provide that institution’s name, address and ABA number

  • The name, address and account number of the person the wire is being sent to

  • Reason for wire

  • Any special instructions you would like to add for the receiver of the wire


International Outgoing Wires

Print the wire transfer form, verify the wiring instructions for the receiving bank and include include the following information in your request:

  • Your name, signature, address, account number and day-time phone number

  • Date and time of request

  • The amount being wired plus the international wire fee of $40.00

  • The receiving financial institution’s full name, address and SWIFT* code. If the receiving financial institution has a correspondent bank, you also need to provide that institution’s name, address and ABA number
    Important: some countries that use the Euro have IBAN numbers as an identifying code. The code is usually numeric and is also necessary for processing your wire request

  • The name, address and account number of the person the wire is being sent to

  • Reason for wire

  • Any special instructions you would like to add for the receiver of the wire

* SWIFT Code: consists of 6 or 8 letters and 2 numbers and helps direct the funds to the correct bank and branch.
